Youth & Children's Formation

In the Rite of Baptism for Children the concluding prayer for the father includes this statement: "He and his wife will be the first teachers of their child in the ways of the faith." Our formation programs at Corpus Christi stand ready to assist parents in this great responsibility.

Early Childhood Program

Children begin learning early at Corpus Christi. We provide an Early Childhood Education Program for children ages 3-5.  See the appropriate links below:

It's the time of year again that we get ready for the youngest among us to have the opportunity to come together to celebrate...EVERYTHING! The Early Childhood program will begin on SUNDAY, October 4 during the 10:30 am Mass.  The Open House will take place after the 10:30 am Mass on Sunday, September 27 in the Parish Center. (For more information see info above. Families with children ages 3-5 should have received more information and a registration form in the mail this past week. Please consider allowing your child to take advantage of this wonderful experience. If you have not received the registration information or have grandchildren that will not receive the packet, please let us know.

Youth Ministry (High School)

This ministry strives to include youth in all aspects of Parish life. High School students are served by helping them develop a relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, faith formation, religious education and social and service opportunities.

Religious Education Program

Sacramental Preparation

The immediate preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation is a parish responsibility.  It brings together the children of our parish school, St. John the Baptist, and the children in our religious education program to prepare for the reception of these sacraments for the first time.

As we begin the time of preparation for First Reconciliation for our children, we have the opportunity to stop and reflect on our own experiences of the sacrament. The following links provide Pope Francis' reflections:
