Camino Youth Ministry

Welcome to our youth ministry program! Together, we grow in our love and relationship with the Lord through experiences of prayer, catechesis, and community, having plenty of fun along the way!  Youth ministry serves all youth in grades 7-12, so you're always welcome to join us, and bring your friends!

Is youth ministry for me?

Yes!  Youth ministry is for everyone, because everyone needs Jesus, Catholic or otherwise. 
If we're honest with ourselves, we're all broken, we're all searching for direction, and we're all wondering
what the meaning of life is.  Youth ministry exists to help you navigate the big questions in life alongside
youth and leaders searching for the same answers. 
Through Jesus' coming and teaching, and His death and resurrection, we can understand who
God created us to be, the reason we exist, and our role in God's plan of salvation for the world.

What does a typical day in youth ministry look like?

The most important part of youth ministry is that you will never leave without some sort of spiritual experience or knowledge that can help you grow in your relationship with God, or understand those big questions in life.  And one of the best parts is that you get to do it while having fun with your peers and being part of a community that's there for you.

Typically we spend about half of our time together playing games or engaging in team-building activities, strengthening our friendships and community.  The other half of our time is devoted to a spiritual lesson or discussion, and an experience of prayer through Scripture, adoration of the Eucharist, or some other prayer based on the rich tradition of the Church.
